The Clubhouse Seaford, versatile venue hire.

Set beside the sea and overlooking playing fields, The Clubhouse offers one of Seaford’s most flexible and welcoming venues for hire. Whether you’re hosting a business event, family celebration, or community gathering, our bright, spacious function room provides the perfect setting with the option to book by the hour, with or without bar service.

Available throughout the week, The Clubhouse is especially suited to mid-week events when the rugby club is quieter. Recent hires have included National Trust talks, BNI breakfast meetings, and charity AGMs, all taking advantage of the relaxed setting and excellent facilities.

Events we host

Our venue is ideal for a wide variety of functions, including:

  • Corporate events, training sessions, meetings and AGMs
  • Community gatherings and charity AGMs
  • Awards evenings and club presentation nights
  • Private parties, anniversaries and family celebrations
  • Children’s parties, with space for games and play nearby
  • Seasonal events, including Christmas parties and festive dinners

With seating for up to 120 guests or 150 for buffet-style receptions, the function room can be arranged to suit your event — from formal layouts to relaxed social settings.

Flexible hire options

The Clubhouse can be hired on an hourly basis to suit your schedule and budget. Please contact us with your details and numbers, and we will supply a quote. A guide to prices are below with a 10% discount for paying club members.

You can choose to book:

  • The function room only prices mid-week for 4 hours from £160. (Children’s parties, baby showers, AGMs and wakes)
  • The function room with licensed bar, staffed by our friendly team mid-week and 6pm – midnight for 70 people from £200 with a minimum bar spend of £250

For those bringing in their own catering, we offer use of our fully equipped kitchen for an additional £50 fee for storage, plating, or food preparation. To use the full kitchen facilities there is an extra charge.

If you’re using an external catering van or hog roast, this also includes access to kitchen facilities for the same additional fee.

Events including a large number of people celebrating with alcohol may require an additional two door staff. Prices will be quoted depending on timings, and must be paid for in advance.

Catering to suit your occasion

We offer a wide range of catering options — from small buffets to bespoke sit-down meals. Past events have included:

  • Hot meals such as fish & chip suppers or pizzas for children’s parties
  • Fish goujons served in cones for informal gatherings
  • Buffet menus and light bites for meetings and AGMs
  • Full bespoke catering for weddings or evening receptions with your caterer of choice.

We’re also happy to discuss external catering options, providing flexibility for every style and budget.

Below are two standard examples of our menus which can be adapted to meet your needs and requirements but which will give you an idea of costs.

£15.50 per head (min. 20 people)
